Weird Problem
Went out for a spin in the car tonight and noticed a weird problem at WOT..
The car was in 3rd gear doing around 100mph.. I floored it and when it reaches up to 6000 rpm, the rpm goes back like i pulled my leg off the pedal (except i didnt) for about a second and then pulls again fine..
I did another run and the same thing happened.. notice this doesnt happen in 1st or 2nd gear.. only on 3rd gear..
i know there are more then one reason for this problem but i wanna know what could this. Im going to log it with HPtuners after two or three days and see how the scan goes and might find the problem.
till then, any clues on why this happens?

The 3-4 clutch packs in the 4l60e are very common for taking a **** early. WOT 3-4 shifts will kill those clutches like it's going out of style. My guess is too many WOT 3-4 shifts are killing your clutch packs and you're experiencing some extra slip right now. You've already got a shift kit, so you've prolonged the life of the 3-4 clutches the best you can. Now it's time for a good rebuild.

Sound more like your converter could be locking up then unlocking. take a look at your shift tables, tc lockup tables ect.
