Default Anyone use this method to tune idle?

I don't think it applies to HP Tuners, but any Live guys try it? How does it work?

It's works great with EFILive!
I used it - it's HumpinSS' write up. You need the custom maps available in EFILive/FlashScan to make it "cookbook" .
HP Tuners - Use the LTIT + STIT to make your adjustments at the correct operating temps/ECT.

ya, I made up some customs MAPS with ECT being the rows and a single column for 0-8000 RPM for all four PIDs. I just didnt' know if this was still an OK way to tune. I noticed the file version was for EFILive 7.1.1 and god knows a lot has changed since then.

yeah hptuners actually has something very similar. Soundengineer made up a preconfigured histo for it. Same stuff different program...efilive uses script whereas currenntly hptuners you can just save/load single histos.

Very nice smooth idle here. Numbers in Desired flow (RAF) are much less than stock though. I didnt touch IAT Parked.

Actually thats a good question, do I need to? Can I make a MAP for that? Would it be the same as ECT but just IAT from idle? Only issue is its the IAC count when parked for IAT, my guess is to allow initial flow during cranking?

Sorry for a small answer and lots more questions..

The in-gear and parked PIDS works great. I have not done much with the PIDS for ACIG and ACPark.

My car stumbled and stalled for six months. Raised idle, drilled hole etc. to no avail. Ten minutes logging from cold to operating temps and one reflash and no more problems.
