Default MAF issue

Can't search so I gotta ask. I dynoed my truck the other day with sorta low #'s and A/F ratio of about 14.2:1. After doing some reading I've realized that my descreened MAF could be causing the somewhat lean condition. I also have billet MAF ends. So what should I do, get another maf w/screen, get a maf translator, or a new tune? I had the ecm tuned by wait4me and listed that the maf was descreened w/billet ends but still the leanness and at cold startup it doesn't want to run until the O2's heat up. Also can or should I use the billet ends if I go the new screened maf route?

What kind of motor, what MAF? Truck MAFs
don't have "ends". Wonder if the PE mode
RPM or delay are holding off enrichment like
on some other models. Talk to the tuner and
see what the PE target AFR was supposed to
be.

I'd stay away from the billet ends, the screened
MAF won't be screened anymore and the ends
are pretty much a mystery error to be dealt
with.
