WTF? Did I just kill my WB?
so i did a cold start log, got up to 78*c for ect, then i hit 13.0 commanded to make sure it hit what was commanded, great did it and i closed the scanner. well about that time it went back to 14.6:1 (on the afr gauge) and then bam went full rich which was about 11.0:1 or so, then it blinked the led 8 times (lc1 by the way) so i pulled over, shut the car off and looked up the code. said it got too hot and could be sensor failure. started the car back up, the led stayed on after warm up except the afr was about 17.5:1 and did not move from there. i only had this thing for a week and a half, i dont get it. can anyone explain to me what could cause this? i have the WB in the bung on the header.

The heater control loop is an integral part of
how the wideband works. If it loses control
(too much heat input) the data, at least, is
junk. I would be surpised if the heat alone
damaged the element. However maybe you
coughed up a loogey and fouled it, or something?
Maybe the unit just says "fuggedaboudit" after
the temp control loop faults, and makes you do
a recalibration?
Probably want to hit up Innovate tech support
on this one. And now consider a more remote
bung (mine's way back in the I).

Maybe the LC1 is like the LM1, two outputs,
but one is "dedicated" to the gauge? Does
LogWorks say they are on the same scale
& offset? Or did the cal process maybe set
something funny without you noticing?

the calibration for the gauge is different than analog 2 settings. I tried to copy the changes over and hook up analog out 2 and it didnt work. i am sending it back to innovate and they think it might be the controller is bad. i can read it in log works but the analog outputs dont seem to be working at all, either that or my gauge fried on me, which i wouldnt think that would happen, at least i hope not
