Default HPP3 ?'s

What if any gain could I expect from this. I'm thinkin about gettin one & with my mod level I just don't see wasting money on a dyno tune. I don't plan on gettin a tune until after I get my cam. Reasons for askin this are I have the chance to purchase one & would like to know if its even worth it on a M6.

Mods that should be on when tax money comes in are: Coated Pacesetter LT's/ORY & P/P TB. Don't plan on gettin a tune after LT install, would like to wait till cam.

Thankx for any help.

Unless you have an urgent need to adjust for tire size,
rear gear change, earlier fan turn on or bump the rev
limiter I would pass on buying unless you're getting
a really good deal. Even so......
They are a little more useful with an A4 than M6.
As far as the "tuning", I would not buy it for that.
IMO.

They are ment for a mostly stock car, once u add headers they are not anygood engine wise. I wouldnt get it, i sold mine cause it sucked, when i took mine off i ran 2 tenths quicker in the 1/4 mile.

HPP3 = POS ... unfortuanetly the search seems to still be down... but there are lots of posts about it, and the overall concensus is it's a POS

I had one 5 years ago... got rid of it as soon as I got LS1 Edit ... the hypcrap tune is a joke...

Only way to get one is if you can get an unlocked unit for under 100 bux used and you want to use it for gear/tire changes, a4 shift speeds, fan settings...

I used one for fans, gears, shift firmness/points - but never tried the tune and have an A4. You can find them used if you just want to try it - I sold mine for $130 shipped. If you're getting a used one make sure it's been returned to stock before purchasing.

Don't waste your money. If it's the HPP3 tune you want I can put that in when I turn your codes off. But you have to tell me that's what you want, because the tune is not that good. I won't recomend it, but if that's what you want.......................
