SES right is random, so is my low coolant light
like the title says, my SES light goes on and off at random. My low coolant light does the same thing but doesn't always come on when the SES light comes on. They are both random and possibly unrelated. I dont know..
When i got my stereo installed the guy who did it said it sounded like a i had a leak in a vacuum hose or somethign. He wasn't sure but he said i should get it checked out. I realy havent got the first clue as to what to check and every place i ask wants to charge me $100 to hook it up to a diagnostic check. Can aonyone help me out here?

Low coolant sensors go bad all the time, if the level is fine and you're not running hot most just disconnect it and the light will stay off - don't think it's related to the SES light? - get that scanned for free, around here Autozone will read it. The code should still be stored in memory even if the light has recently gone back off.

Forgot to mention...you can try removing and cleaning the low coolant sensor first, new ones at the dealer list for about $54 if you want to replace it, cheaper from one of the sponsors. Doublecheck but I believe the PN is 10096163.
