Default Octane table in SD

I was thinking about leaving my car in SD. What do you do with the high and low octane tables? I mean I know you copy the high into the low for tuning purposes since in SD you revert to low. After tuning in SD, I guess I just leave the high copied to the low and dont worry about it. Just wanna make sure I'm not missing anything. By the way I am tuning using the help file in HPT 2.0, it sawesome since it has the help file. Another quick question, should I tune spark first or after like the help file reads?

Yes, you leave the high octane numbers in the low octane table. Unless you have a custom operating system like EFI Live offers. Then you can have BOTH high and low octane (with different valvues) tables and only one VE table to tune (nice for the '98-'00 guys).

HPTuners also has a 1-bar SD enhanced that does the same thing...works great.

Just leave the high octane numbers in your low octane table.

Would I benefit from getting 1-bar added?
