Default De-Tune Before Custom Tune?

Ok I'm a newb in this area of comps. and pcm but prob. a stupid question. so for say when i pull my egr and air out and find someone local to tune the ses light out for just a lil' cash. then after i install h/c and take it to get a dyno tune will i have to have it tuned back to where it shows the ses light or no?

If any tuning has been done before a shop tunes your car, leave it in there. The tuner should only mess with what needs to be messed with. If the codes are already deleted, it saves him time and you money if he charges dyno time.
