Default a 2000 and 2002 maf on a 1999?

im curious if a 2000 maf or a 2002 maf will fit on a 1999? i also just had a tune done on my car. When the tune was donr i had an slp maf. will putting the stock one on change the tune that much?

98-02 LS1 F-Body MAFs are all the same part #. Only logging will indicate if the tune is off after changing the MAF.

Yes, the maf will change the tune, the MAF is the most critical sensor on the engine. If you change it, you must get a new tune, if the output of the maf changes based on airflow.

I have seen swapping mafs on the dyno, a straight 11.5 air fuel to a straight 14.0 air fuel.
