P0441 & P0420 Please Help!

Default P0441 & P0420 Please Help!

'97 Camaro V6, these are the codes the PCM are showing. I have no idea what to do as far as fixing them. Can someone please help me. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

P0441 EVAP System No Flow Purge
P0420 TWC System Low Efficiency

The P0420 code usually is the cats going bad. Usually if u tap the cats with a rubber mallet and hear them broken up inside they are no good. I wouldn't advise on doing this yourself because I work at a Chevy dealership and ever V6 camaro that ever came in for these there's no way in getting the bolts in the manifold without snapping them even with torches. As for the P0441 you could have a leak in the Evap system or if you leave your car running sometimes when you gas up it'll set an Evap code.

damn it i have code p0420 too. i might just look for a whole new exaust manifold and cat.

BigBenz - stock cats are covered for 8yrs/80K under the Fed Emissions Warranty - could also be the post cat bank 1 02 sensor, but it's rare.
