Default EFI LIVE SD question.

Just bought EFI Live Commercial from wait4me. (Thanks Jesse). Started looking at the 3bar sd option since I'm Turbo'd. I have a 99 and it states I can change my operating system over to a 2002,etc for 3bar but has to be retuned for the 2002os. Does this mean my existing 99os tune can not be used at all and will not copy over for a baseline?

TIA

Nope. In your case, follow the OS upgrade tutorial (Help -> Tutorials -> Custom OS Upgrade Tutorial.pdf). When you are done, you can trasfer the data from your '99 tune to your new V3 OS tune. You will find some of the tables are transposed, but there is a built in table transposer in the tune tool (press Ctrl+Alt+Enter). Also, the copy/paste with lables makes the transfer a bit easier too.

I would go with the 2002 OS 12212156. This OS will give you the most options in the end. Hint- COS #5.

No, with EFILive it locks the the actual PCM, so since you are not changing the PCM, just the operation system on it, you will only use 1 license.
