Default Using HPTuners or other software w/ DESKTOP PC and LONG cable?

I don't have a laptop, and it'd save me some dough if I could use HPTuners or other tuning software using my desktop PC only, running a long cable to my car. I'd need at least 30 foot of cable to make a connection between the PC and my car. If the cable is serial this might work, if it's USB it's probably not gonna work. Is this kind of long-cable setup possible?

You can use EFILive's new V2 interface. It will be released here shortly. With it you can log, save, and flash all your files with just the interface box, no need to have a laptop or long cord for any of it. It is the best of both worlds.

using what's available now... (not what's avail soon or shortly .. though... what's available soon/shortly from HPT is just icing on the cake) I would say HP Tuners is your best bet .....

Some of the new things HP tuners are working on.... you'll be happy you went with HP Tuners (or sorry if you didn't) ...
