Default Dip in RPMS and then stall from park to reverse.

Well, I was finally able to take her out and tune part throttle....its sooo nice to have power back!!!

So problem is.....sometimes when I shift from park to reverse or reverse back to park, drive to reverse..etc.... the rpms start to fluctuate (from like 1100 to 600) and if it doesnt stall it will oscillate like three times and then go right back to perfect idle.

Any ideas?

I'd start by tuning the RAF table in park/gear and possibly raising the idle a hair.

What's the idle set to now ?

I already tuned the RAF for P/N. Guess I forgot to do in gear. How do you do in gear? Just start it up cold and put it right into gear and hold it there until the car is warM?

Idle is set at 900 warm which is already too high for this cam as is it not needed. When it warm it steady as a rock. Just warm startups sometimes make it idle weird. Once its in gear, its fine.

Yep, thats how you tune for it in gear.

If you have problems beyond that, you might try playing with the over and under idle speed spark tables.
