Default Do most people pick up hp when switching to an SD tune?

I have seen people say they know someone that gained 20 hp or so. Has anyone seen these type of gains on there 346 ci motors? Im always skeptical when it comes to changes but I am have the 90/90 intake on the motor now and it seems weird to have the maf since it is more restrictive than my TB

thanks

most of the guys making those claims are running high hp cars with 90mm throttlebodies.
you could always try it, and switch back and forth... you should be able to test it back to back at the strip a few times...
id be intrested to see your results.

20hp would be possible if the MAF was really choking down their combo THAT much. Its not switching to SD that gains them the HP though, its more the matter of removing a bottleneck.

I will say that to me, throttle response feels a little better in SD, but that could probably be argued.

when my car had a dead stock LS1, i couldnt tell any diff between SD and MAF when driving.. i did leave the MAF there, but driving and MPG wise, there was no diff.
