Default pcm memory loss

Hey guys,

When i pulled my car out of storrage this year (it had no battery in it for about 5 months) when i started it up it was like it forgot its idle and had to relearn it

my question is this, seeing as how i dont know how the pcm functions

If i get a tune this spring with my new cam when i pull the battery in the fall do i need to worry about loosing my tune like i did my idle this year?

is it the same thing?

hope i explained this well enough

Idle was grumpy because of the disconnected battery, essentially it reset the PCM and had to learn idle again. Disconnecting the battery won't lose a tune, but idle will react the same way after you take it out of storage again.
