Default Please Help: Checking trans temp??

Hey guys my converter is going in tomorow and i was wondering what software would be applicable to check that? I have a hypertech on its way from ebay, would that work? If not would myscantool.com, autotap? either of them work i didn't see their trans temp sensors on their site.

AutoTap should, I know my old EFILiveV6Pro did and
HPTuners does. Transmission Fluid Temp is probably
the name of the param. You could also tap the two
wires at the PCM, measure voltage and work back to
a temp using the info in the Helm books if you aren't
quite ready to dollar up for the software yet.

There is a test port right on the driver's side of the trans, just above the trans shift lever. See pic attached.
