Anyone with a WBC care to do a free air test for me...
I just did a free air test on my DynoJet WideBand Commander and with the sensor just hanging below the car, not running, just ignition on I was getting a voltage of 4.63. This would be an AFR of 17.41. I was expecting to see a voltage of 5 equaling 18 AFR and higher...
If anyone with a DynoJet WideBand Commander can lend a hand below are the instructions:
-Remove the WB sensor from your exhaust, just unscrew it and let it hang under the car.
-Turn on your ignition, don't start the car.
-Take a volt meter and read the voltage from the 5v output going from your WBC to EIO (or what ever)...
Interested in the voltage results... suppose to be 5v steady after sensor warm-up (about 20 seconds)...

HMMM... OK, That is a good idea... I will get another volt meter and see if I get the same results....
Thanks,
