Default Hp tuners/ Laptop ???

I just ordered a refurbished laptop to run my hp tuner enhanced I/O on (and only hp tuners on). It has all the recommended requirements. I was curious though, it has a USB port, but I'm not sure wich version, 1.0 1.1, 2.0. Does it matter, am I going to have a problem? It's a Dell Latitude c600. Any input would be appreciated.

i picked up a new gateway from bestbuy for $449 about a month ago...i would check out gateway/dell and if you work for a government agency you can usually get a 10% discount on new stuff. With new prices as low as they are unless you need a serial port real bad just buy new.

So all I really need is a USB 2.0, 650 mhz processor, and 128 mb RAM?

I've only got $488 o.t.d to spend!
(in my paypal acct. )

Just wondering, according to this:

http://www.hptuners.com/help/index.h...quirements.htm

you need USB 2.0, I hurried and canceled my laptop order so I wouldn't be screwed!

I really just want something to run Hp STRONG, I'll leave everything else up to the pc.

doesnt say 2.0...they are just talking about the new usb version which obviously requires a usb port.

Thanks for the clarification. Guess I should look before I leap! Is a bit confusing though on the hp page though. Well that ought to save me about $100 if I decide not to go the USB 2.0 route.

Will it run better with USB 2.0? Thanks Guys!

doubtful... USB 1.0 is about 11mbps I believe... the CAN network can only run at 1MBps (8mbps) at max speed
