Default LC1 questions for analog input.

When connecting a LC1 to a analog input, such as HPTuners or EFI live, do you need to connect the green/white wire to a real ground, and the interface cable, or is just them to the ground input of the interface good enough?

I haven't used the LC1 enough to know for sure if i can do just to the interface itself.

Thanks

Ryan

No, do not connect green/white to a real ground; just connect either one to the interface 'ground' input.

as joe said. your heater ground should be the only one that goes to the chassis..then again, its a matter of who you ask on how you should wire it up.

Honestly, I don't think it really matters. The one thing to make sure you do though is ground the heater (blue) wire to a separate ground as per Innovate's instructions.

I have my HPT EIO ground, and the green and white all going to the same ground (front of the passenger head, in one of the open bolt holes), and the blue heater ground uses a separate wire, and goes into another open hole on the passenger head.

No matter how you do it, you need to account for any ground offsets you may have.
