Default Running rich P0172 & P0175

Alright so this is my dilema, I have a stock 98Z with 80 some thousand on it. I did some research and have ruled out improper tuning as my flash compares with a stock 98 T/A, I have logged it before and the MAF seemed to be working properly so I doubt that it is backwards, which leaves me thinking that the injectors are dirty or something along those lines. My question is would there be any way to clean them, fuel injector cleaner, Iv'e seen it before but does that crap work, maybee removing them and cleaning them like that or do I need new ones? Or I could use ls1 edit and increase the IFR but that just seems like a bandaid really...Any suggestions?

Are you running on the original O2 sensors?

No, I changed them out about 2 thousand miles ago. Actually that makes me wonder if the MAF could go bad, I know that it is funtioing, I just don't know if the values are where they should be, but then again the maf shouldn't max out my ltrims in the negative. Maybee the cats have something to do with this?

Have you tried unplugging the MAF and running in SD mode? If the problem goes away...poof you've got a bad (mis-cal'd) MAF.

Without the MAF your car will run in what's called Speed Density mode. Meaning the PCM will use MAP and RPM to get an airflow value from a table, called the VE table.

OK, so I will run in SD mode and if the average o2 redings aren't close to .45v then I know I have a MAF/unmetered air problem... right.

Your right....the PCM gets an air value from the auto tranny which means you dont need a maf. Just make sure your Flux capaciator fluid is topped off or you might spin a muffler bearing.
