I purchased a "2002" f-car engine harness, and PCM, and it arrived today.

The pcm looks like a 99-02 case, but the Harness appears to have an EGR plug on it...

I want to find out if this is a correct hardware for a factory 2002 pcm, or if it is indeed a 99-00 harness/pcm that I purchased before I contact the seller and complain.

I know they can be flashed between eachother, but that is not the point of knowing, but more of grounds to question the rest of the harness, since it looks old and nasty, not something I expected out of a 2002 car. I haven't had time to build a bench harness yet to power up the pcm and check the vin number.

That PCM is from a 99-00 LS1 based vehicle.

It can work with 02 code on it...

If your harness came with that PCM and also has EGR wires, chances are its a 99-00 harness.

yep its a 99-00, the 01-02 has the 411 service code.

It was a 99 pcm/harness.

I contacted the seller, we will see how they want to procede, thanks for the help.
