Default 1998 pcm

i just bought a 98 ss six speed car. i love the car but i am new to the feul injection would. what is so bad about a 98 pcm car. i am just curious, is it just harder to tune or what

nothing bad about it (actually kinda good because you have a real working engine temp gauge)

the main downfall is the 98 PCM is only used for 2 model years, and even then (97/98) it's changed.... so the greatest downfall is that PCM tuning/development takes longer to catch up to the 98s (figure 99-04 PCMs are real similar, and the code is better organized, so companies spend time on those more since they're easier and there's a larger customer base)

So basically the only downfall is there's not as much tuning support for 98s as there are for 99+ (though HP Tuners just released a 2 bar custom operating system for 98s)
