Default Warranty?

Is there anyway I can tune out torque management and other stuff without it effecting the warranty work on my 05 GTO? Will I have to set it back to stock if something goes wrong or what?

Well, that all depends on how carefully they look and
how much they want to beat you out of claims. Me,
when I was taking it to the dealership I always put
back the stock tune. Now it's modded past the point
of being warranty-able and I don't go to the dealer
anymore anyway.

But I'd keep the stock tune handy if you were going
to try and, say, get a new transmission for free. The
dealership might be clueless about tuning but why
bet?

No doubt about it, if you are taking the car in for any sort of "discretion" warranty work, drop the stock tune back in before going.

Especially if there are any other modifications on the car that would tip off the dealer that you are a tinkerer.

Any indication of defeating failsafes like torque management means your claim is toast.

Say if I take it to SpeedInc. How will I get the old tune back in it easily? LS2 edit?
