Thanks yes it is a 01, but I have some contradicting info. As I have also pulled a diagram form a on line GM service manual.
There is no question on the correct +5volt TPS signal which goes to connector
(C2) pin24. DK BLU wire. circuit 417.
With pin 8 (C1) GRY wire is the +5volt supply to TPS.
And then the I take it the Low Reference would be the ground for the TPS which is pin 60 of (C1) Tan wire, circuit 452. Which in my case all colors match with the exception of the Tan and the Black. I did how ever do a continuity check when I had the C1 connector off to the pin of the TPS connector and it confirmed the black wire of pin 60.
So I think I have connected it to the correct position.
But now when I 1st started the car it was idleing very high. Hooked up the auto tap and it was reading 10-12% vs 0-4%. But after a few starts and shut downs it seems that it might of just needed to relearn itself.
Have also noticed with my meth controller hooked up, car off and WOT I only see 98% WOT and with controller disconnected I see a full 100%. Not really worried about 2%, just curious why why the controller is causing this condition. Unless it is creating a draw on the TPS circuit.
Sorry for the long post.
Chris
