C6 Z06 tuning problems, NEED help !
put on Headers, CAI and tried a tune from a tuner
started acting strange, put stock tuning back in
Car still acts funny
When cruising LTFT is WAY negative -13 up to -16
and it stumbles and hesitates ALOT
I am going to Track next week soooo anyone that can help me tune and get rid of the problem, a nice reward can be expected....
I have HP Tuner and slightly skill on how to use it, so anyone interested and helping out , i can scan, send files for evaluation, and tune/flash PCM
regards

Are you setting any codes? Are the O2s still switching good at idle and part throttle? What did your CAI do with the MAF?

P0172 - Fuel Trim System Rich Bank 1 (Old) (Immature)
P0175 - Fuel Trim System Rich Bank 2 (Old) (Immature)
P0430 - Catalyst System Low Efficiency Bank 2 (SES) (Old) (History) (Current) (Immature)
My O2`s are switching funny, but i dont have any to compare it with :-o
as far as i know CAI is not supposed to alter MAF, i still have stock airfilter and airfilter box in place.
Do you know of a good tuner with HP tuner software ?
TIA

I would suspect an issue with the CAI you installed. Take a look at the intake tubing where it attaches to the MAF, just make sure there's no leaks between the MAF and the throttlebody.
You should also look over any wiring near the catalytic converter. If the computer thinks something is wrong with it, it can dump in fuel to make sure the motor stays safe.
Congrats on having such a badass car though.

There is not even a VE table except for the cranking VE. I could look at your file, but I wouldn't be able to edit it. I only licensed the 1 vehicle, not the entire year. I think you have a hardware issue though since it is doing the same thin with the stock file back in it. BTW, the P0430 should have been turned off if you are not running cats. Even if you are, you can still set rear O2 codes.
Could you have a look at my HP scan when cruising, how could i get it up to you ?

You said you changed to a CAI? Which one is it? The last C6 Z06 I tuned changed to a CAI which didn't look much different than stock, but the change to the MAF tables was tremendous. Often times I had to hit 25-30% correction on some cells. And the MAF table needs to be absolutely correct on that car.
