Don't see a P1780 for the F-body, sure it's not P1870? There's some posts on 1870 in the auto trans section.

Probably P1870, component slipping. I've posted before
what it took to settle mine down but you need to be
sure you have the same problem.
If you see large TCC Slip RPM values when it is
-supposed- to be locked, then you need more line
pressure (or a better converter, my eventual
solution).
If you see it is not "Locked" in the TCC Mode when
you expect it to be, and you've got the P1870
settled down, then you have to look at misfires.
There are slip RPM thresholds in the Transmission
Diagnostics, increasing the set threshold will buy
you a little slack (but you do not want the slip,
you still want to kill that).
Check the V8 Trans tuning section on the HPTuners
'board as well as here, and probably search up "TCC
slip"; that should net you the kind of stuff you need
to know.

Thanks guys, I deleted the P1870 code in the dtc's and it does not throw the code while driveing but now 1-2 shift is a little weird. ill have to mess with the shift settings now.
