Exclamation need help. misfiring

the car was driving fine all day yesterday then on the way home from teh gf's it started to misfire. pulled a P0300. i don't think it's the plug wires as they haven't been touched in over a year since the headers went it. could it be a bad o2? last time this happened the pass side o2 went bad.

Couple things you can do.

1.) If you have a scanner, hook it up and scan each individual cylinder for misfires. Once you find which cylinder it is, start checking plugs, wires, valvesprings, etc for that cylinder.

2.) If you don't have a scanner, get a little squirt bottle and squirt some water on each primary one at a time (while the car is running), until you find one that doesn't boil the water off the same as the others. It might take a few rounds if its intermittent. Then troubleshoot from there.
