Default New to Tunning need help

Got Hp Tuners in and I can`t wait to use it. I`m having some trouble installing it though. I hooked the cable to my lap top and then to the car with no problems. I then inserted the HP Tuners disk into my cars CD player and it dosen`t show anything on my computer. My CD player works fine even with bured CDs so I know it`s not my CD player. I did a search on google and I couldn`t find any info. on what the problem is. The first thing I want to do is tune my muffler bearings (I just greased them) and then really pay attention to my twin tornados. One of my buddies said that the next thing I need to look into is tuning my exhaust manifolds to make them flow better. I really need your help fellas. Just got my spoiler in today and need to get this thing tuned SOON. By the way could you make this a STICKY so other newbs can learn from it?

Thanks

I was just bored and thought you fellas would get a kick out of this. I`ve been reading the tuning section for a while now and have sceen some dumb questions, so thats my dumb question. I`m still in the learn and search phase of my tuning so I have no real questions yet because with the info. on here you can learn alot of the basic stuff although there is ALOT and I mean ALOT to learn from what I`ve read so far.
