Default What's more accurate: Autotap or Autometer guages?

I've been thinking about getting an Autotap, but read some posts that indicated that Autometer guages are more accurate, because they are not simply connected to the PCM. Is this true? If so, then what Autometer guages would show more accurate information than Autotap? Thanks in advance for the info.

If you are wanting something that you can look at all the time without having a laptop in the car, I would do the gauges. If you want to monitor it in relation to RPMs and other factors and don't mind the little extra hassle, I would do autotap.

Take a look at EFILive's scanner. It is a lot more functional and has more abilties then autotap. I am a reseller for both if you have any questions.

Thanks

Thanks for the replies. I decided to keep it simple by buying both the guages and Autotap. I heard about the capabilities of EFI Live and HPTuners, but I'm too stupid to be messing around with the PCM parameters. I'll leave that to the professionals.
