Default No serial connection on my LM-1

I am tring to go in LM programer to calibrate my wide band. The LM-1 does not recognize that the serial cable is plugged in. Any ideas?

Idea #1 is to go and get the "legacy" version of LogWorks
and LM Programmer, because the new version they have
basically licks b@lls for setup / flakiness. At least, switching
over to it messed up my comms too (same serial port works
fine for other hardware) and no help other than "are you
sure you're not stupid?" from the Innovate support site.

Go to this page and look at the quick start guide. It says how to hook up the stuff so it works. I just wen thru the same bs and it was because I did not have the dummy plug installed. Would have been nice if those innovate morons would have put that in the instruction book that comes with the lc-1!
