hp tuners for duramax?

hp tuners for duramax? i heard that HP tuners was coming out with software for the duramax... i've been looking at buying it for my car, but if they will soon be able to tune duramax too, then i'll wait. anyone else heard about this or know when it will be out?

They are supposed to be working on it, but have no release date that I know of. If you are looking for something now, then EFILive can tune your car and LB7 and LLY duramax trucks. And since you have a 98, you can tune it for free with EFILive, as 98 don't use up a license.

they should be working on it. i think the last release with real time tuning capabilities took a lot of their time. you should email chris, keith, or ken and get the info you want.

If you want to tune your car and a Duramax, just get the EFILive then, easy to use and learn and lots of feedback from the EFILive duramax users vs no feedback from HPT. Plus like it was said about, you can tune unlimited 98's as they dont need a license, you will also like the blackbox datalogging, no need for a laptop in the car.
