Freakin LC-1 is taking a dump - again!
Well, last fall I had problems with my LC-1 giving me incorrect a/f readings. I mean they were way off, like 10:1 and sometimes 18:1.
I sent the unit back to Innovate to have it fixed a month ago. Got it back and on the car, worked great for a week. Now its back to reading 10:1 a/f ratio all the time
I don't get it. I have it wired up to simulate a NB, just like soundengineer has his. It seemed to be working great for a week; I changed nothing and now it is not working.
I am about ready to just buy a new unit, maybe a different brand this time.

Is it giving you any error codes when you use logworks? Mine is screwed up too, works fine after startup but after a minute or so, it reads constant 20.1, or 10.0 or like the other day 40.0 or just flat out 0.00!!! Should've bought some other brand, the LC-1 is the WB system with the most issues!!!

Nope, mine said it overheated the other day going to work when the car ran, from a cold start, for about 10 seconds. The LC-1 is screwy. I keep it in the car to have a general idea on the AFR when I drive around but I will throw the LM-1 in there when I want to make sure the AFR is good.

Same here. Biggest waste of money so far out of all my mods. I've wired, re-wired and wired again. It's so freaking inconsistent it's not funny. HP blames Innovate, Innovate blames HP. HP has the LC-1 wiring diagram wrong in their help files according to most on this board. None of this crap makes sense.

Mine has given me no error codes, and I don't change a damn thing between the times it works (which is very little time these days) and the times it doesn't work.
I also noticed in the HP help file that their calculation to make the wideband read from 10 to 18 is wrong. It should be .625, not .0625. I was a litte confused when my a/f readings were 40:1

No problems here....still going strong...hehe...but on the vehicle in the sig. My blazer probably doesn't see the extremes like you guys. Just throwin' it out there Oh...had to add....it's the innovate controller as well and I'm using the analog outs to the Flashscan Module.

Here is a pic from EFIlive's forum....I know it's not HP's diagram but it should be the same except for the interface to the FlashScan pins. Not familiar with Hp's calibration procedures http://forum.efilive.com/attachment....3&d=1134819362

Try the "free air calibration" it is recommended that it be done frequently to keep the WBO2 operating accurately. That being said, I have had mine on the car for 6 months now and it works like a champ (knocking on wood) I wired mine into the harness for the passenger side rear O2 sensor.

Keep sending the LC1 units back when they fail and get a new one each time. Eventually they'll get tired of supporting the design flaw and fix it. I think they have now, but time will tell.

Not going to do that. I will give them one more chance to get this thing fixed, after that I take my money elsewhere. I am not going to repeatedly pull the damn unit out of my car, ship it and wait 2.5 weeks for it to return.
