Default Setting The Pe Table *****(please Help)

OK WHEN SETTING THE PE TABLE I BASICALLY TAKE MY closed loop afr (14.7) and use what ever number i need to devide into that to get a pe afr?

EX: 14.7/1.15=12.8 SO ID USE 1.15 IN THE PE TABLE IF I WANTED TO COMMAND AN AFR OF 12.8

then if my commanded afr in PE mode does not match my wideband afr i need to change values in my ve table

is this the right idea?

then after i got my whole ve table dialed in and my pe multipliers set, i can plug the maf back in and calibrate that table so my afr does not change between sd mode and maf mode

do i have it right???????????

ok question #2

if i can't use a wideband how can i tune my portions of my ve table above 4k rpms...

do i use the narrowband 02 sensor histogram and go do some pulls in pe mode and just see where the 02's are reading

also arnt their gonna e areas of my ve table that i cant reach like high rpms and low map regions ? what do i do with them?

you will have to make estimations on the areas you cant reach, and remember they just have to be in the general area as they cant be reached and wont ever be used. And you NEED a wideband if your going to tune your PE,Dont bother with the stockers for this as you will be guessing the entire time, and it wont be that accurate.

OK WELL IM TRING TO SETUP MY WIDEBAND THRU THE AC PRESSURE PORT ..

so once i get the wideband setup i just cange the ve table based on wideband readings when in pe mode...

but i can still use my ltft's to tune my part throddle stuff right?

or is it better to use the wideband for everything?

what i did is use the wideband for everything to get it close, and then use the ltft to fine tune it,this way your using what the computer also uses, which is ltft.

to tune the ve using the wide band you disable the maf and disable the trims ? then log the maf in the histogram RIGHT?

if the MAF's disabled why log

You need to be logging wideband AFR and commanded AFR, there's a histogram (#7 in HPT I believe) pre-setup for this, but it assumes using EIO.... so you'll have to configure your own histogram to show the error % between the Wideband O2 and the commanded AFR... then you can use this error % to multiply the appropriate sells in your VE table
