People run the 13111 so they don't need O2 extensions. They should work, but I'm not too fond of Bosch. Seen too many things go wrong with them. Stock AC Delco's can be had for ~$70 if you know where to look.

The main people run them is because they have a more powerful heater, due to them being so far back in the 'vette system. This helps people with longtube headers who get insufficient switching codes. I have a set on the way to my house right now. Got them for $62 a piece w/ free shipping.

Search 13111 under posts by me and you'll find a link to them.

Talking 13111 bosch 02 sensor

I want to thank the guys at LS1 tech for all there support
i just replaced the 02 sesor before the cat /passenger side/w/the recomended corvette sensor 13111 from AZ.after i took the old ac delco one off i started looking at the wiring and seen an extention, so i took out the extension , bundled the new 02,to about 18 inches, and it all fit like a champ, went to AZ cleared the code ,and tonight i am driving about 30 miles , i believe it will stay off now, i am hoping to get even better gas mpg than the 23.5, i've been getting ,

I have had recent experience with this exact setup. I have an 01 formula with SLP LT's, and TD's. I put 02 simulators on the back sensors and installed Bosch 13111 into the headers. It cleared the code on its own. My car has stock 3.23 gears and converter and I consistently get 26 mpg and I have used this setup for a couple of thousand miles with absolutely no trouble.

IMOP, you need to replace both at the same time. Each sensor controls that side of the motor. if the other sensor is going bad, even slightly bad you've created an imbance of power/mixture in the motor.

I agree. Replace them both at the same time to help with troubleshooting. TD's stands for true duals or dual exhaust without a y-pipe. You can get O2 rear simulators from any of the sponsors on the right. Or if you had access to a tuner, you could remove the rear 02's all together and turn them off so the pcm doesn't throw a code.

I agree with the above statement of a matching pair of sensors in the front. The o2 simulators are small apparatuses that plug where the rear sensors used to plug into the wiring harness. Thus, you have no rear o2 sensors and these fool the computer by creating a signal that appears normal. These can be had for a few dollars used if you will check the classifieds. I forgot to mention my fuel mileage actually increased substantially after the addition of the new sensors, headers and true duals. OH, not to hijack your thread but did you put the slp lt's on yourself?

I would be willing to bet that the light is from the imbalance on sensors too. The second good thing about the bosch's aside from the extended wires, is that they send a "hotter" if you will, signal to the computer signalling that the catalytic converters are doing their job and if the computer is getting a mixed signal from opposite sides, it will throw a code. Also, did you say your car has o2 simulators on the back, or do you have some kind of sensors? Oh yeah, thanks for the feedback compliment, I make it a priority to keep my business straight.

0430! haha. Already been there done that thus I now have long tubes, true duals, 13111's, and o2 sims. Catalytic converter below threshold of effeciency. That is due to you NOT having rear o2 simulators. Also, you can clear it as many time as you want and it will still come back although it may take a couple hundred miles. I KNOW from experience. Anyway, get matching sensors and install a set of simulators and let me know how it turns out.
