Default questions about ls1edit.

ok so i can get everything i need to hook my laptop to my pcm for really cheap. but i have no clue as to where to get the ls1edit software.

also if i find a person who is willing to let me buy one of his vins off this software do i get his software? but with no connections.

im just kind of lost as to how to get everything i need.

The software is the easy part, the connection cable is the hardware lockout, that's what costs. LSEdit is known for the bare minimum technical support. Their moto, "we are programmers not car tech guys". While LSEdit may cost less, HPTuners is a far superior software product with good support. I just switched to HP ,after plugging it in a few times I can tell you that it is worth it.
