Weird Problem... Car won't start, PCM Reset, Car Starts...
Ok, here's the scenario and I'm trying to figure out what exactly is wrong. Yesterday the car ran fine and went to the store, shut the car off and shopped and upon return the car would not fire. I pressed the schrader valve with my fingernail and there was fuel pressure in the rail. I pulled a few fuses and unplugged a few sensors to try and isolate the problem, after I reconnected everything the car fired right up and was fine for about a day.
Now, if you do a PCM reset the car will start right up but as soon as you shut it off it will not restart unless you do another PCM reset. What gives!

Sounds like your passkey is acting up. Probably not giving the signal from the ignition switch to the body control module. Which activates the Vehical Anti Theft System. You can do a VATS bypass, or turn it off with HPTuners or LS1edit. If it's not the problem now it will be eventually, so no time will be wasted in eleminating it as a possibility.

Nope, it's not the key. That has already been checked. For some reason I'm thinking cam position sensor but I don't understand why a PCM reset allows the car to start without an issue.

IAC issue wouldn't prevent it from firing.
Maybe a fuel pump relay?
You can find out of its lack of spark or fuel pretty easily, either get one of those spark plug wire tools (U-shaped opening which you put over the wire) which lights when a spark passes through, or stick a fuel pressure gauge on it.

If the IAC was closed, throttling it would allow it to start though. Besides, it's not on MY car. I'm not ruling out the tune though because this started right after I made some changes to the misfire @ idle table, though that's probably just a coincidence.

Disabled VATS, nothing.
Changed the cam position sensor, nothing.
Swapped the Starter and Ignition relays, nothing.
Changed the crank position sensor, nothing.
Swapped the Starter and Ignition relays back and it fired right up.
No idea which of them it was but the car is running again finally!
