Default knock question

is there any way to adjust the sensitivity of the knock sensor (using efi live) ? the reason i ask is because my headers are hitting the floor board and i think that i would have to bend and beat to much to fix the problem that way, so i was just wandering if it was possible?

To rid yourself of timing retard via knock then you will need to almost completely disable the knock sensors. This could cause some major problem. I would still fix the header problem as soon as you can. I’m sure you already know this, so I will just get to the point.

Edit B6245, higher the number the less sensitivite the pcm will be to the knock sensors, stock will show 1.0 in “inHg 19.2 – 29.5” just increase these numbers until the pcm does not retard the timing. step value up 1 point at a time until the knock is gone.

There are other ways to disable the sensors but this will have the same affect.
