I did the search and i read every single thread i could find on this subject... Yet nobody in any thread said anything about there car NOT starting at all WHY ME!?

P1637 Is my code

Just finished my motor and tranny swap & i still need my exhaust welded back on but i dought open headers would prevent my car from starting.. Or would it?

Any help would be awsome

Try checking your alternator wires and also be sure the battery is fully charged...

I believe that is a theft code, off top of head would have to look it up to be sure. For some reason care thinks it's being stollen.

P1627 is the VATS code.

P1637 - Generator 2 L-Terminal Circuit. Points to the alternator, which shouldn't affect starting. As mentioned above check the battery voltage at the battery and the AUX post by the fusebox. Did you set this code without illuminating the SES light and are you sure this is the actual code?
