P0161 Code??

Default P0161 Code??

SES light came on this mourning and so i went and had it checked out. The code P0161 "HO2S Heater Circuit Bank 2 Sensor 2" came up..What and where is this sensor at?

Bank 2, Sensor 2 is the post cat (rear) 02 sensor on the passenger side.

If i drive my car while the sensor is bad will it hurt my car any?

Post cat 02 codes shouldn't hurt the car/performance. Heater test is only on cold starts once per ignition cycle. Before replacing it (easy one) inspect the wires/connectors and the "ENG SEN" fuse. You're stock right?

Yea im pretty much bone stock..mods listed in sig. I plan on fixin the sensor Sunday. How hard of a job is it?

It shouldn't have any effect on reliability or driveability. The aft cat O2 sensors are there solely to monitor the "health" of the converters. You'd throw the same code if you removed the cat.

Well i just left work and on the ride home i noticed my SES light wasnt on. So i guess it fixed itself. I still dont know what caused it though. Any idea's?
