EFILive AutoVE Newbie MAF Question
I purchased the Commercial version of EFILive and have a LC-1 installed on a 2004 Corvette with the following mods: Vararam B2, LT headers w/ high flow cats and a ported/polished Throttle body.
I have done a ton of reading, logging and playing around w/ the software. I plan to install a custom operating system for SD tuning and follow the tutorial for AutoVE.
My question is, how do I turn off the MAF so the IAT still works and also make adjustments so the SES light stays off? Did a search but could not find any info. I guess I'm looking for step by step instructions, like I said I'm a newbie.
Thanks in advance for any help you could provide.

That's usually what I do. Set the fail limits to 1 and flip the high/low frequency fails.

Thanks, that was what I was looking for. The tutorial doesn't cover this part.
How many degrees in temp changes will affect my tune w the MAF disabled?
Can I reset the Maf back once I have tuned the VE table?
Thanks

It's more than IAT swings. It's atmospheric conditions, coolant temp, etc. That's why cars moved to a sensor that measures airflow and air mass. It's better than relying on an equation to calculate things.
Once you re-enable the MAF, you'll need to do the same with the MAF table as you did with the VE table. In other words, you need to do the BEN AutoTuning with a MAF map in the scanner and adjust accordingly. With the MAF, keep in mind big changes work well at first (trust 50~75% of your data). As you get close, smaller corrections will help you dial it in.
