Default LC-1 Issue

I did a free air calibration with my LC-1 and I checked it with my HP Tuners and it showed a ratio of 14.0 in free air... Am I doing something wrong or is my sensor bad???

Lot of troubles with LC-1 ground offsets and gain
errors, the electronics appear to be easily hurt as
well. Start with the LC-1 programmed settings, see
what output voltage ought to correspond to a 22:1
(?) free-air output, see if that voltage is being put
or not, then whether the EIO box is reading the
same value when hooked up and if that value is
being bent by the ground offset or the load on the
LC-1. Step by step should show you who's got the
wrong idea.

Not necessarily, you may just need a different
wiring arrangement (best case). On HPTuners'
site there is a bunch of discussion about this.
A few minutes with the DMM should show you
where the problem lies, simple enough.

IMO, its worth the price difference to get an LM1 just to avoid all the hassle. I can't imagine a wiring discrepancy will make it read 6 full points off.

where do you have your grounds wired?

I have been having problems with mine ATM. I need to replace my sensor due to erratic readings. My grounds are all wired to an engine bolt. The power is sourced from the radio wiring harness.

I got a hold of Innovative today and they issued me an RMA to get it repaired or send me a new unit. I ordered a new AEM unit today so when the LC-1 comes back, I will have it for sale at a good price.

I'm not giving up yet. I see a bunch of people running these, even high dollar cars with no issues. I think the technology is good, but we are having problems for some reason?!?

I will try and post up once fixed.

try running the white and green to pin 5 on the eio, the blue one keep on the engine. if you have the pid setup to read 10-18, do the same in the LM programmer. set both min and max voltage to 2.95 (that should equal 14.7) and see if its putting out that voltage to your eio. if so, then setup a pid to view raw data and see if its the same, if not, adjust for the offset.

I'd change the order and get a LM-1 and call it a day if you still can.

Looks like the LC-1 was one of the main problems that you were having.

Here is how I am wired:

*White and green LC-1 wires going to the black EIO wire
*Brown LC-1 wire going to the white EIO wire
*XD-16 gauge black ground wire as well as the blue LC-1 heater ground are grounded to an engine bolt
*Both red 12v wires from the XD-16 gauge and LC-1 are connected to the radio harness switched 12v wire
*The LC-1 black and yellow wires are taped up since not needed

In HPTuners I have in the chart settings:
WB LC1
"enabled"
PID: Wide band O2 LC1
Units: AFR
Max: 20
Min: 10

Is there any other places this should be configured?

So are you saying I need to go into Logworks and verify the settings are the same in terms of Minimum and Maximum? I was looking in there and saw you can configure the input and it is gauged by volts which dictates AFR.

Thanks for your help. Let me know about these two questions. Thanks

Andy

Ended up being a problem with my EIO not reading the correct voltage.
