I just recently had a budy of mine tune my car with efi live. i think all is good except there is a bucking when i am at low idle speeds and mph in 3 and 4. i have a tci 3000 stall and i was wondering if there is any way to tune that out? Also during start up, it seems as if the idle is searching. what i mean is it goes up and down and some times dies, when it is low and you put it in gear it will die also. any help would be appreciated. -vince

Would help to get a log or two to narrow down the possibilities. But in short, yes, most of the ill side effects your having can be tuned out.

I dont think you'll be able to find just one answer...in most cases with a4 cars I just find where it starts to buck and alter the tc lock/unlock tables.

Could be the torque converter locking up at too low an rpm.

It can be fixed for the most part.If it's a 98 it will be harder. Also TCI converters can be a bitch sometimes.

I can't picture Tony specing a cam like that. I can see it beiing a 228/232 .588/.595 114+2 You should have had a cam card from comp when he shipped it to you. I would double check that and go from there.

Could be timing, converter lock/unlock. SD tune is going to need attention, I hope this is a really good friend.
