Default exhaust leaks?

Does an exhaust system have to have good backpressure (like a muffler installed) to give accurate WB readings?
If there is a exh. leak about 7" downstream of the WB will that throw off the accuracy of the WB?
Does anyone think that JB Weld can patch leaks?

How come the max my HPT says I went to was 4000 rpms but my Air Fuel Ratio ERROR % shows for error corrections up to 5000 rpms????? weird, is it psyhcic or something?

JB Weld is the miracle cure for almost everything, but I would not use it on exhaust. It may work for a while, but the heat will make it brittle and eventually it will crack then you will have a real mess trying to get it out of there. Do it right, take it off and have it TIG or MIG welded.

do you think a tigger/migger can fix my HORRIBLE welds? I'm sure they would have to do some heavy cutting but I cant take my car to a shop, just the pipes.

I'm sure I could do a good MIG job if only I wasnt laying on the ground underneath the car. Trying to weld in places I cant even see!
