Exclamation 160 thermostat and misfire?

I just put on a 160 thermostat... I know this makes my car think it has bad cats and all but i when i floor it from start i get random multiple misfire. Does the thermostat cause this or is something else busted?

I have a 160, and all is well. I even drove it for a long time without the fans adjusted for it.

Yeah not a chance mate, must be some other problem.

Bad cats code means your post cat o2 readings are out.
Maybe you have a dodgy o2 sensor somewhere, it wouldnt be the first time.

If your having random mult missfires, we need to know what mods you have. In some cases this is normal as certain mods are not compatable with stock paramater missfire detection and will need to be modified or turned off by means of tuning.
