Default Car Ran Rough At Idle, Then Ses Light Comes On And It Goes Away

well me and 1 of my buddies are messing with my car with the HPtuners, and i ask him to check the ses light so we turn all the stuff off and when i turn the car on the ses light is off. So im like alright i feel better, but then when i stop at a light the car is like sputtering so i give it some gas and it like sputters some more but revs up just not very responsive like usual. Then when i give it some gas to leave the light it like hop a lil and then goes. But then the ses light comes on and it all goes away. all i deleted from the ses codes or whatever is the rear o2s, air, egr, and im running straight headers?? i haven't checked the code yet but ill prob. check it tonight and see what code its throwing. any ideas though?? I was thinking that my front o2s are bad bc ive been running straight headers but just thought i would ask you guys so i can check it all.

thanks
B.J.

Sounds like one or more of your front O2s aren't switching and when the SES light comes on, you are being dumped into Open loop.

Fire up the scanner, and click on the engine looking icon. This will tell you what codes you have. If you've got the newer version of tuners, you'll also see alot of codes dealing with communication, that really don't mean anything.

While you are in there, to the left of the engine icon is the icon for the status bits. Select this and then find the bit for O2 status, and Closed loop status. Monitor these to determine if you are going into closed loop and if the front O2s are reporting ready.
