Default Invalid OS/VIN pair

I get a Invalid OS/VIN pair error when I try to liscense this 01 T/A I am working on. Im using HP Tuners.

I am sure that it has something to do with the Hypertech Power Programmer the guy has. I put stock tuning back in the car twice but when I reboot the power programmer it says it has Hypertech tuning in it. Its like its leaving something different from stock and the HP Tuners picks up on this and recognizes its not the proper file for that VIN.

Anybody had this problem?

Im thinking dealer may have to reflash it now. How much does that cost?

Many times companies who make those kind of handhelds may use a wrong OS calibration for the refalshed "performance" tune. I have seen many C5 vettes years with the same OS ID after being reflashed.

It is showing 12208322 for the operating system.

I have loaded the stock tune back in the car 3 times. When you boot the programmer up it says " stock tuning installed"
