Default Speedo and tach reading slow????

My speedo is reading about half of what it should, and my tach is about 1000 rpm off (I know this because my Autometer tach works fine). Does anyone have any reasons why this might be? This happened soon after my cam install. All grounds seem to be good, as does the cluster and PCM and BCM. Any ideas? Car is getting tuned in 2 weeks, worse comes to worse I can ask at the shop but it's bugging me. Any help would be great guys.

You have a sustained 1K rpms difference even at low rpms? That's weird if that's the case. Our stock tachs do have lag in them especially when accelerating. I installed a shift light and at WOT I'll hit the light's setting of 6700 while my tach is reading about 6300-6400 and still catching up.

Tach should be bang on. Speedo I can understand.
Maybe a PCM table or two is out of kilter? (Speedo wise anyway)
