need help with programming for a 97 chevy pickup with a carbed motor PLEASE!!! I want to install a carburated 406 small block chevy into a 97 obd 2 controlled z71 chevy pickup. can anyone tell me if the computer can be flashed so it would pass our crappy New York State emmisions inspection?

I am guessing you are keeping the computer for timing and tranny reason's?Email me and let me know more.I have a 97 chevy I tune on an almost daily basis.If you pop the hood your gonna fail inspection anyway though,having a carb on an OBDII car is a no-no I'm pretty sure...You wouldn't need OBDII really anyway,unless you are retaining the evap,EGR,AIR....
