Default need help with programming for a 97 chevy pickup with a carbed motor PLEASE!!!

I want to install a carburated 406 small block chevy into a 97 obd 2 controlled z71 chevy pickup. can anyone tell me if the computer can be flashed so it would pass our crappy New York State emmisions inspection?

More than likely. Software for 97 obdII trucks is somewhat hard to come by so you'll have to do your research on who can help you out.

I am guessing you are keeping the computer for timing and tranny reason's?Email me and let me know more.I have a 97 chevy I tune on an almost daily basis. If you pop the hood your gonna fail inspection anyway though, having a carb on an OBDII car is a no-no I'm pretty sure...You wouldn't need OBDII really anyway, unless you are retaining the evap,EGR,AIR....
