The PCM section has a wealth of info on this.

Autozone can only read codes.

To clear codes you will need a scan tool.

To delete codes you will need a tuning tool.

EFILive is a scan tune package that will let you diagnose and tune your car to your liking. Check the links in my sig for more info on EFILive. Also check out www.efilive.com and www.forum.efilive.com for more specific info on EFILive

Autozone can clear the read and clear codes. If you want the function not to be checked by your PCM then you would need a tool like EFI Live or HpTuners.
