Default Please Help

First off I hope this is the right forum. Ok last night I ran my buddies 01 T/A Ram Air it has HP Tuners, mild cam, p&p TB, 3.73 gear an all the other normal bolt-ons. Two weeks ago before the tune an TB the car put down 350rwhp so now we figure its around 385-395rwhp. Well my car has been dyno tuned an made 475rwhp. During the race last night, from a second gear roll, he pulled me half a car lenght in 2nd an 3rd but in 4th I was able to put a half back on him. This doesn't seem right to me a 100 rwhp difference should be more than that. Heres the computer question when my car was dynoed the guy told me he had to manually put the computer into closed loop because it would not heat up properly. The needle on the temp hand never moves it stays buried on 160. I have already re-installed a stock thermostat. If the car is staying in open loop is this costings me any rwhp? If so how am I going to fix this issue? The only SES light I'm getting is for the egr. On a slighty different note if my car has already been tuned with HP can anyone with HP software go back in a look/change ECU parameters? Guys I really need your help on this one.

P.S. Don't know if this tells anyone anything but the gas mileage is not hurt at all.

figure out why your vehicle ISNt going into closed loop.

possibly, depends if your previous tuner locked the tune.

Keep in minde also WOT is open loop. Not going into closed loop may be effecting your around town driving, but it depends on how it was tuned.
